Now, to the particulars. I am a 25-year-old Florida State University graduate who spent the first 1.5 years of my professional career in the sports media. I’ve done editing and production for PGATOUR.COM and, more recently, web content/social media for Sports Radio 790 The Zone in Atlanta.
I’ve changed career paths … well … kind of. At the end of March 2011, I switched over to the weather world and took a position with weather.com. However, I write and produce content for their website, so it isn’t a complete revolution in my professional career.
Over the months, my blog lagged, and the writing for my jobs took precedence. But now, I will be providing daily updates on my blog, since this is my personal area for writing about sports, food, weather and whatever else. Hope you enjoy my blog, and be sure to check back every day and leave comments on my posts!

Hello Sean
Are you the writer who posted “Images: Rapid Retreat of Chile Glacier” on weather.com?
Thanks for this story, and for drawing attention to the rapid changes in glacial ice.
PS. Minor – in the title, it’s “Chliean” instead of “Chili”
Yep…that was me. Thanks for checking it out; I’ll look into that today.
Hello Sean, Sorry that the Elvis Akpla video was removed. It deserves to be on your ‘Greatest Plays’ list. It would surely get my vote. He is one great athlete, an exceptional student, and a very nice guy. We in Bozeman, Mt have been very lucky to have a Elvis as a part of our community.
Also, thanks for posting a ‘Like’ on my blog, regarding the Flacco pass in the last seconds of the game.
Sure thing! It is too bad that video was removed — I’ll have to see if there’s another version of it on the web.
Sean,
Thanks for checking out my blog.
I checked out a few posts, so far, so good!
- W
PS – Even though we lost, do you still not believe in Flacco?
Thanks for checking out the site!
I’m still not sold on Flacco, but I’m definitely not going to put that loss on him. I think he is learning as he gets more experience, and I don’t think he’s a scrub by any means.
Sean, great Prince blog as well…I checked out some of blogs, and will be checking back…good stuff!!
Thanks a lot…hopefully I can keep bringing you back to the site!
Sean, I really like what you’re doing here, and I think the look of the blog is outstanding. Always good to find a spot you want to come back to, and I will.
Great Pat, thank you!
Awesome blog Sean!
Thanks for stopping by the blog dude!
Thanks for liking my post “A Voice Stilled.” Looking around here I see a lot about ACC sports. I am a fan of the conference and will defintely be looking to see what’s going on here. Keep up the good work.
Yes, definitely a lot of ACC Sports…thank you for stopping by!
Funny that you stopped by. I’ve Just sent an idea to the NBA offices. NY plays Indiana on St. Patrick’s Day… The t-shirt has the two digit version of the CHINESE ‘lucky’ number 8, ( LIN=17.), on an Emerald three-quarter sleeved “GEM” that has …
” ER-LIN go BRACH” …
EMBLAZONED ACROSS THE SHOULDERS !!!!!!!!
Just ‘hidin’ in PLAIN site.
“D” / om
Nice!

Thanks for liking the post! I like to write about all sorts of things on my Olympic weightlifting blog. I’ll be stopping by yours from now on. Who says NY Mets fans can’t be fans of ATL residents? Haha. Be good and keep up the great work.

Sean –
Really enjoy the blog. Breslanta has been a big inspiration in how to boost the professional quality of solid sports writing – although we’re not big fans of weather in Chicago. Wanted to let you know we added you to our Favorite Blogs on Major Onions. We recently just redesigned the site, so be sure to check in for your Chicago sports fix. Too bad we dont have a Bears – Falcons matchup this season!
Well thank you, Keegan! Glad to see you’re a fan, and I’ll be sure to check your site out as well.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking a peak at my Red Velvet Truffles! Have a wonderful new year!!
-Christine
Thank you…Happy New Year to you too!
