If you’ve ever wanted to be in a movie, this could be your chance.
A film called “Mena” starring Tom Cruise is looking for extras during filming this summer in North Georgia, according to AJC.com. They’ll be filming in the Ball Ground area from May through July, the report added.
It’s a throwback movie to the 1980s, so they’re looking for people who can pull off a retro look.
The state’s economic development website listed the criteria they’re looking for in the extras, AJC.com also reported.
– People to portray South American types
– Military and government types
– Children aged 1 to 17
– People with cars in good-to-great condition that were made between 1975 and 1983
– Ball Ground townspeople to portray people 18 to 80 years old
If you’re interested, CentralCasting.com has an online submission form. I just ask that you tell Tom Cruise I’d like to interview him for Breslanta. Hook a brother up.
According to Project Casting, 32 different movies and TV shows will film in the state of Georgia during the month of May.
