Even if the Atlanta Braves struggle through a rough season, there’s always the hope of a new stadium to keep the fan base occupied.
Here are the latest time-lapse images taken this month from the site of the new SunTrust Park. In the image above, you’re looking at the construction of the left-field façade, which has begun to accelerate recently.
There are now several new cranes at the construction site that you haven’t seen in past photos, and the site has rushed to life, filled with scrambling workers and all kinds of vehicles moving on and off the premises.
Below is Xan Gerson’s latest photo from above at a nearby office building. It should be much easier to see the progress in this time-lapse image.
The Braves have also launched a website with live cameras that show the construction site, which you can see here. It’s mounted at a slightly higher point than the aerial photo below.
